Jinnywitha Cleanslate
My boss wants to put her Sim in the Search listings - and asks a question:I check the box ... Include in Search. Which automatically charges "me" 30L/week. But if the parcel is group-owned how is that paid? The GROUP (Estates) is founded by "X". Will he be charged? or Do I need to put funds into something else to pay group debts? Help please? Also - the club I manage holds events - how would I get that into the event listings and is there a charge? Thanks in advance
Vania Chaplin
By default in groups is that it is charged by every member. But you can change it in group info. Group Info >> Members and Roles >> Roles Than you choose the role (everyone/officers) and in “Allowed Abilities” scroll down to “Accounting” and mark/unmark “Pay group liabilities and receive group dividends” In all groups that I’ve made, I left only owners as responsible to pay liabilities. That means the L$ 30 is shared among the owners, every Tuesday LL take it directly from our avie’s funds. Members don’t pay anything after the change was made. ___________ Sorry I've never hosted an event, I am unable to help you on this.
Peewee Musytari
There is no charge for listing events, but you do need to be given the ability in group to host them & the search listing has to be in the "Hangout" category AFAIK. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Inworld-events/ta-p/841291
Thinkerer Melville
This may clarify: Why do I have a negative balance in Lindens? The peope who will pay are those who have roles allowing them to pay group liabilities. If no one has such a role, the charge will go to the owner.
