Is it possible to trade my Linden home for a Linden boathouse?

Not quite yet.  The new Linden Homes, which include a houseboat option, are still being put in place.  We expect LL will be going live with them pretty soon, so keep an eye on the official blog!

Not quite yet. The new Linden Homes have not become available yet, although their release is rumored to come very soon.  If you want to trade at that point, you may do it the samne way that you would trade Linden Homes now:

1. Stand in your home

2. Pick up all your stuff, one item at a time, and take it back to your inventory

3. Open World >>> About Land >>> General

4. Click Abandon Land.

5. Request a new Linden Home, the same way that you requested your current one.

Keep an eye on the Linden Blogs for an announcement about the new launch, or keep watching one of the thread in the General Discussion form where many other people are also watching and trading rumors.
