folders missing

Every time someone sends me a folder in SL i never get them. Half of my invertory is missing and then this! i am not sure what is going on. this has been happening for a few weeks. not sure if anyone else has had this problem

Most of us have a problem locating folders that people send us. Thing is, you almost never know what name to look for, so the folder could say almost anything.  The quickest way to find it is to open the RECENT tab in your inventory and look only for things that have arrived within the past few days.

If the folder really isn't there at all, consider the possibility that you never received it because:

1. the person didn't really send it. (Liar! Liar! Pants on fire! )

2. the person was clumsy and dropped it on someone else's avatar.   (Oooops!)

3. the person tried to send a folder with non-transferable items in it, so the transfer was aborted.  ( And she never noticed? )

4. the system really screwed up. (This last possibility is very rare.  The only way to resolve it is to submit a support case or call Live Chat.)

Not being able to receive folder offers from other avatars is one of the signs of inventory corruption.
You should contact LL support & ask them to check your inventory for corruption.  Don't worry, they can easily fix it.
