What shoutcasts work with SL?

I found a 96 kbits/s shoutcast I wanted to use for background music to my skybox, but though it stream successfully in Winamp, it doesn't play in SL. However, other similar shoutcasts do indeed work in SL. Any ideas about why one particular stream might work while another doesn't?

Mine is mp3PRO: 96 kb/s, 44.1 kHz, Stereo & works fine in SL. Do you have the right server details and the correct URL in your land settings?

It plays fine in Winamp. SL doesn't seem to like it though.

Everything on the website says its playing OK but I can`t get it in SL either. I use SAM so don`t know anything about Winamp settings. Hopefully a Winamp user will post here or try finding a support contact for the site.

AFAIK Winamp has ever been a problem with SL. Better use SAM for streaming.

Winamp and SAM have nothing to do with OP's problem as he is NOT the one streaming the audio he is simply stating that the URL plays fine on WInamp.

@OP Have you tried a different music url and get the same result?

It is not uncommon for some radio urls to not work in SL, just find one with similar music that does and use that one.

I have run 96Kbps streams to land when I had a puny server -- it worked fine. 

The problem may be that Winamp will play music that is in AAC or MP3 just fine, whereas SL cannot play AAC.  There are more and more Shoutcast streams in AAC every day, so it's possible that the stream which you are trying to set the land to is simply not an MP3 stream like you think it is.  Try a different stream at 128Kbps Mp3 and see if it works, then reexamine what is different about the desired stream.

SL can only handle streams that are encoded in mp3, mp4, or ogg format, so that rules out any (like BBC Radio 3, for example) that are coded for RealAudio or other formats.

The new URL works. Thanks for all the research guys. I guess I'll just have to be more selective of URLs in future.
