Eyes & Eye Appliers

I've been on SL for years, but up until just recently I've never really spent any real money on eyes, as I've always liked some I'd received at events or as group gifts.

However, at the recent Skin Fair I bought a new LAQ mesh head and the eye appliers which were on the store wall alongside the head, called "LAQ ~ Eyes Applier 01"

The head itself came with no eyes at all.

I tried applying this over the system eyes .. nothing.
I wore an eye alpha and mesh eyes (from elsewhere) .. nothing.
I bought the LAQ Omega System Kit (not just for the eyes), tried the eye applier again .. nothing.
Redelivery of LAQ head, LAQ HUD, and LAQ ~ Eyes Applier 01 and repeated the above .. nothing.

What am I doing wrong! ~ How do I get these eye appliers to work? 😣

From what you write here, the eye appliers must work only for LAQ eyes, and they are probably for sale in the Mainstore.

LAQ Omega System Kit does not work with other eyes, it is for LAQ eyes to work with Omega appliers from another brand. Let us say you buy eye appliers that say: "Catwa and Omega appliers included", you can wear the Omega appliers for the LAQ eyes.

Or that is how I understand it. I do not wear LAQ so I can be mistaken. There is some customer support you can ask?

LAQ doesn't come with eyes because it works with system eyes, or other mesh eyes. You can purchase LAQ rigged mesh eyes separately, but they are not required. The texture you bought is likely to only work with the LAQ rigged mesh eyes, though. Personally, I quite like them, but you can stick with what you have already if you'd rather not spend the money.
