Moonshade Pastorelli
My RL husband passed away over a year ago, and he did not close his SecondLife account while he was ill nor did he bequeath the account to me. What must I do/who do I contact to close his SL account?

0 Lindal Kidd
Cindy is absolutely, legally correct. But, while I don't usually recommend doing something technically against the rules... If you have his password, you can log in as him and simply cancel his account. See this link: https://community.secondlife.com/knowledgebase/english/premium-membership-r346/#Section__7 If the account owns a significant amount of Linden Dollars, you may wish to convert them back to $US dollars and transfer them out of Second Life. Assuming your husband had a PayPal account and it is still active, you can do that (prior to canceling his account!) by following this procedure: https://community.secondlife.com/knowledgebase/english/buying-and-selling-linden-dollars-r46/ (What is a "significant amount" of $L? The exchange rate is about $L250 = $1USD.)
