Question

I selected all the items in my house, then picked them up all at once thinking this would speed up the process. All the items derezzed, but didn't go into my inventory. I've lost all the furniture I had and I'm not sure how to retrieve these lost inventory items. I got a notification that items were coming in too fast but it appears the items didn't come in at all. How do I regain these lost items? I've reset my browser and inventory cache in an attempt to fix this. I've reset my inventory filters. Still nothing.

You have collected all of the items as a single coalesced object.  It is somewhere in your inventory, probably with an unfamiliar name.  It has an icon next to it that looks like a stack of small boxes.  The easiest way to find it is to open the Recent tab and set your filters to display items added within the past three or four days.  When you have found it, you will need to go to a large, empty sandbox to rez the object and then very carefully take each of the individual parts back into your inventory properly.  Here are the most important things to remember:

1. Be sure that the sandbox you use is large and as empty as possible. When you rez the coalesced object, it will probably cover a large area and may overlap with other people's things.

2. Open your editor (CTRL + 3)  first, before you rez anything.  That way, your object will be selected as it is rezzed and you will be able to manage the entire thing as a whole, rather than trying to find all of its parts.  This is very important, because your individual objects may be underground or otherwise hard to find.

3. Rez near the center of the sandbox, not near the edge. Otherwise, some of your coalesced object may be partly outside the sandbox (or the region).

4. If you get a chat message that your object is too large to rez, you will need assistance. Contact Live Chat for permission to use the Unpackistan region.

I suggest getting a little practice handling coalesced objects before you work with the real thing.  Read the Knowledge Base article on this subject.  Then find a sandbox and practice.
