IM are send 2 times

hi

since i have changed my PC all IM are send 2 times in chat window, i have tested in aditi it's the same, i have tested with alt it's the same 

any ideas ?  is it a system bug ?

It may be a problem on your ISP's end.  Here is an excerpt from a 2015 forum post about a similar problem.

"Even though I tried pinging and tracert from my computer, I couldn't see any problem until I went to a couple of different websites to check my connection - www.dslreports.com  and www.pingtest.com.  On DSL Reports Line Quality test, my results showed that when the server pinged my IP address, it got back 2x as many packets as it was sending.  Same with the utility at www.pingtest.com.  I called my ISP and explained the situation to them and they agreed that this shouldn't be happening.

i'm not sure because all is correct with my old PC, I have the impression that there is a problem of compatibility with my new material, I will ask linden support to see.

it is a gamer PC last generation surboosted can be that the viewer can not follow  LOL !

Are you using a translator by any chance?  Some translators will automatically parrot whatever you type in, even if you are not asking them to translate to another language.  Try turning yours off and see what happens.

I do not use a translator nor Norton but after reading Dan's post I did a test by disabling Windows Defender and it seems that everything is back in order

even to reactivate Defender the problem is not reappeared.
