I am 18 but the age verification is not working for me! How do I get verified?

Basic members have limited access to Support and it's not available for age verification issues. You'll have to upgrade to Premium for Support assistance with age verification. If you have a surname prefix like van or similar, try leaving it out. If you moved recently, try your former address. Sometimes however, nothing works.

However, all is not lost, to visit adult sims, you can also account verify. If you have a credit card or verified Paypal account and live in the US, you can add Billing Info to your account via your Dashboard and get account verified as here http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Accessing-Adult-land-and-content/ta-p/805975  From Linden Lab's viewpoint, this is as good as age verified. However, some sim owners look for age verification but they are few and far between.

If you live outside the US you will have to purchase the minimum amount of Lindens from the Linden Exchange link on your Dashboard and input credit card details when asked. Paypal is not an option for non-US citizens at the moment.

Hello queenbaee. What's exactly the problem? You get any message? If you joined in SL when you were under 18 and recently you turned 18, the system has some problems and sometimes you cant be recognized as an adult. In this occasion use this link https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ and fill in a Ticket in Account Issues, describing with details your problem.
