I'm asking because I have my computer being repaired by Geek Squad right now and I forgot to delete my Second Life pictures, some of which involve...things with "system" avi bodies....

do you want discussion or just the announcement you are scared to get in trouble for underaged porn in RL ?

Discussion primarily, but yes I'm also scared...I forgot I had pictures of one of my Second Life avis engaged in sex acts stored in my computer....

it's quite easy... if they see those pics and think it's worth reporting it to the police you might get somebody at the door with some questions... if not , they didn't notice, they didn't bother to report, or the police didn't see a reason to make more of it than just some cartoonish weird pics.

well if your second life avi looks like a child, i guess you are in trouble then

if this is the case, also not very wise to put it on the forums... underaged looking avatars aren't allowed to be involved in sexual activities.

I was expecting the worst oft this thread... glad it turned out innocent, But tell us: how the hell did you get the idea this would look like a child?

I heard people saying that system avis look very young. Once I learned that the Geek Squad people look for porn on people's computer, I got worried because I forgot to delete some pictures of my avi engaged in sex with a mesh adult.

LOL

You think they do? They might stumble on it and if they find illegal stuff they will report it, but I doubt they actively look. That's not what they get payed for, so they would waste valuable worktime.

Word of advice, get a separate drive or flash drive or something you can disconnect from your PC when it needs repairs and keep things you may not want others to have access to on that.  I keep all personal info, things I'm in the process of making and anything else I don't want others to see on externals.  Plus stuff I don't care if they see, but take up tons of room.  Like the content I have for a rendering program and textures I use for making things for SL.

Anyone who would put out a general statetment that system avatars look "very young" must have never activly used one and has not been around when they were the only thing we got. In addition to having no idea how an adult body differs from a childs body, of course.
