After editing eye balls individually, they move back to the previous spot - How to stop?

Hello - I edited my eyes individually because I didn't know any other way... I just want the actual eyeballs moved down a bit. But every time I teleport, they're moved back up again, and I have to re-edit them. Is there any way for me to stop this from happening?

Hello Identity - thank you, and yes. But the Edit was done through the Edit tab, not the Edit Appearance option.... Is there a way to "save" in the Edit tab?

After editing an attachment, remove it and then reattach to make sure that it is still in the same place you edited it to. Sometimes this makes the changes stick better. If it goes back to the original position after you reattach it, it is possible that it has a script that is making it be in that position.
