How do you deal with bullying from Sim Managers? Is there a recourse when the owner won't listen?

What kind of problems are you having? LL does not interfere in personal disputes. If you are on a private sim, you are on your own. If your issues with the sim managers are against SL TOS, you can try to file an abuse report but I would not expect too much from this...

ETA: try to solve your problem with the owners or.. move to another sim.

Hi Gristas,

Welcome to Forum. Linden Lab is not involved in dipsutes between Residents. You may decide to send abuse report if you find something against TOS. There is also possible to block other Resident and you will not get any IM, obejcts or information in local chat from blocked person.

You don't tell what is the reason of the problem. Are they managers of the place where you rent parcel? In that case you need to find out what is the reason so you had better not block them. If the situation is really difficult just move to other place where are nice managers.

If its a private estate, the sim owner is God and LL wouldn`t get involved. If you are paying rent / tier fees to the owner and he is employing managers that are harassing you, then I would suggest you speak to the owner and tell him you will take your money elsewhere if he doesn`t address the situation.

The owners of the a sim are just that... the owners.  Unless the bullying you are talking about is a clear violation of the TOS, there is not a whole lot you can do besides leave.  It's their sim.  They paid for it.  They are paying to keep it open.  If they want to be a jerk, it's their perogative.

Now... if it is not the owner themself, but a designated representative who is causing problems, or someone who claims to be a representative of the sim owner, it may be worth your while to find out who owns the parcel.  You can do that by right clicking the ground and checking under the land options.  Perhaps an IM to that individual will be helpful.  Sometimes they don't know what is going on and I have been able to "fix" a problem once by writing a polite message to the actual sim owner and explaining what was going on.
