A link to Flickr and others.

Guys,

I have been trying to understand how I create a button in my profile with a link to Flickr, other profiles or any other external page. This is so common in sl but I still don't know how to do it. I found an answer in the Forum (from 2014) but the suggestion they gave didnt work for me.

Please, help me understand it.

I uploaded an exemple of what I'm talking about.

so for example you have to type in your profile: [http://www.firestormviewer.org Firestorm]

and you will get the word Firestorm with a working hyperlink in it

I used this but didnt work.. it did like [http://www.flickr.com/photos/aanamorenaa/ Flickr]  and didn't work.  =(

i'm Alwin's alter ego, i tried it on myself and it's working for me as you posted it, also even with the added / (that's not in the example as given)

This trick works in Legacy profiles, i'm not sure about webprofiles, i never use those.

ONLY works in Firestorm and no other viewers (even others that still offer the "legacy" profile pages)

@aanamorenaa: I would suggest to put it on the WEB tab of your profile. You also can put it into a PICK. You can just put the URL into your main profile page if you want, but it eats up the number of letters left for 'splainin' anything else. Here's what I do:

Copy your web page URL, go to bit.ly - "shorten" the link, paste the shortened link into your profile and be sure to labe it (e.g. "My Flickr: https://xyz.ly" - or whatever.)
