What happens to accumulated L$s whe you downgrade

Thanks to unemployment I need to downgrade my account. My big question is what happens to the L$s I've accumulated from my Premium stipend. Do they get taken away? Should I go on a massive spending spree? Should I transfer them to my Free account "alts"?

The money is yours after you downgrade. And you keep getting stipends even after downgrading IF your account isn't quite up time wise.  If you own mainland you may end up paying for the PREVIOUS month since tier is paid after the month is over. If you do have mainland best to chat up support and make sure you understand how that works.
