Question

*Gray child like avatar in Brown clothing highlighted in red is the target of my question*

the other red box shows a owner of the club doing NOTHING to remove this.

Owners of the sim Claim this is an *alien* not a child avatar.

Apparently this is what they said in local chat to me and my friend.

Now I know that LL cant control how Sim owners Ban people as an owner has full power to ban anyone that wish. Thats fine.

I already did file a Complaint to LL about this.  Obviously LL will not share what they do about this that's fine too. I understand this.

Am just rather frustrated that a adult strip/escort club behaves this way and I seek clarification on this avatar and how they are able to justify that it is not a kid.

It looks like a kid to me and very offends that its on a sex sim.

What does everyone else think?

If I am breaking a rule here by post this please delete this thread. I am just conflicted.  I know that I am banned this sim and can never go back.  I was only every on it once for 20mins before this happen. So as a sim explore this kinda shocks me and wish to raise awareness of this clubs behavior and see what others think.  Sim owners have no power to ignore TOS.

and as i recall.   Child avatars are allowed on adult sims as long as the Player is 18.

However The avatar can not be near *sexual* furniture or actives.  This avatar is clearly also near a Dancer thats lap dancing/stripper dance for everyone present at the club.

Give that the whole clubs theme IS sexual not just other adult themes that child avatars can partake in (violence and so on if i recall only thing child avatars cant do is anything sexual act/near)

Greetings all!

For the time being, I am going to allow the thread to remain, since this IS an issue that many users confront when they visit Adult rated regions, but I have removed the images that were posted.

HOWEVER, everyone MUST follow the rules when posting anything on the Forums.

1. Please do not call out other users, for anything, ever, on the forums.  This include posting images with usernames.  99% of the time it is a user to user issue and it should not be posted to the forums.

2. Do not post images snowing nudity (bits), or sexual activity. Not cool!

3. If you see something you believe violates the Terms of Service or Terms and Conditions, including related policies, file an Abuse Report.  Linden Lab will investigate the report.  No, Linden Lab will not tell you the results of the investigation. Just like you would not want Linden Lab telling your business to other users, Linden Lab will not tell you theirs.

3a. Linden Lab takes ageplay reports extremely seriously. Abuse Reports of this nature will always cause the Governance Team members to investigate the reports as thoroughly as possible, forwards and backwards, inside and outside.

4. Land owners/renters have final say on who they allow on their own land. Any user can be banned from private land, for any reason, or no reason at all, solely at the discretion of the land owner/renter.  Linden Lab does not, and will not, intercede in issues regarding access to private land.  Just as you would not want the "authorities" showing up at your house telling you that you must let someone into your house, land owners should not be forced to accept anyone they do not want on their land. We are sorry there was an issue and someone was ejected/banned, but it is a personal dispute between the person who was banned and the land owner.  Please do not ask LL to get involved, on either side.  We won't.

you breach TOS and guidlines yourself with putting adult pictures and naming here

I also messaged the sim owner

if you weren't there you respond on base of hear say/gossip, no wonder you get banned.

solution to both of you, if you really were involved: report the owner and the, in your eyes, child like avatar, and don't go there anymore.

Please remove the pictures as that might expose the club (Location is visible) - even if not allowed it is against the community guidelines to show who was involved. This is to protect the victims of false accusations.

However what you can do is: Abuse Report the club and the owner of the childlike avatar and include the screenshots in the Abuse Report (handing evidence to the Lab is totally different thing to publicly exposing) also include any circumstances (like the club owner banning you instead of investigating). If the Lab comes to the conclusion it is against the TOS they will take actions very quickly.

Now that the damage is done and I have already seen it I will tell you: I would have ARed it myself ;)

The problem is that there are actually a lot of alien depictions online that do also seem to be child-like in appearance, but that does not make them a child.  Maybe the owners of that place actually know that particular avatar and know that the person has never represented themselves as an actual child.  A lot of people will swear that avatars under a certain height must be children, but that isn't true either.

Was the avatar in question actually doing or saying anything that would indicate they were portraying a child or teenager?  Unless someone very obviously looks like a baby or toddler, you really cannot go off of looks alone.

The avatar was clearly portraying a child, using what looked like a toddledeedo or tween style body and head,

And it is entirely possible that the person could not get the alien look they wanted without using a tween style body/head.  Go google alien images.  Tons of them look like they have child-like bodies and heads.

Just because your personal opinion is that every tween body must be a child avatar, does not make it true.  I am not saying you are wrong - just that you MIGHT not be seeing the situation correctly.

As Dakota said, submit an AR.  LL will decide if they agree with you or not - though the only way you'll ever be able to guess that they did agree is if one or more of the AR'd accounts disappears.

Actually: you *could* be.

This is all you should *ever* do; never get directly involved because, for example, what happened to you (OP Otharious).
