Anabella Ravinelli 2
Help! For the last 24 to 36 hours now, I try to log into SL, and as soon as I get in the screen freezes. I can tell things are still working in the back ground because I will push the button to fly and can hear it. I hear IMs coming in and group messages, and the whole screen is still frozen and I can't do anything. Is anyone else having this problem? How can I fix it? Thanks!!

Go to HELP - ABOUT and paste your stats here. That will help people see your set up and try to diagnose your problem. LittleMe Jewell 36,538
The HELP / ABOUT will provide your graphics info. If you are on Windows 10 and the Graphics line shows: Graphics Card: Intel(R) HD Graphics 620 or 630 then you are likely hitting this bug: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/BUG-225655 Best I know, the only fix is to roll back to a previous driver version. The issue comes about when Windows automatically updates your driver for you, but the latest update is causing problems with the viewer. Anabella Ravinelli 2
Thank you all!! I tried everything. And oddly, after updating my computer with an update I had missed, and downloading the newest version of Flash, it fixed the problem. I'm not sure which one fixed it but it seems to be working again. If it happens again I'll do the help/about thing. Thanks again!

Whirly Fizzle 5,658
I don't know if this will work but it's worth a try. If you leave the latest Intel graphics driver installed but download the older driver as a zip & plonk the driver dlls inside the Firestorm install folder, Firestorm may happily use the older Intel driver. It may also go terribly wrong If it goes ***** up, just delete the driver dlls from the Firestorm install folder.
