I know there is parcels you can rent , but when you want to be a part of a community, renting a parcel on a private lot away from others isnt the same . I have tried finding communities, cocoa bay, and a couple others ..most dont seem to have many people so in a sense it would be similar to renting a private parcel away from others If you happen to find an active place, let me know ..would love to find a place there and see what its like to be a part of a community or small town for once Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We have apartments above the shops in town and another level that will have houses for rent and of course have access to town. Renters have beach use and use of all town amenities which include a gym, salon, restaurant, bowling alley, photo studio, recreation room with lots of different games, roller skating, a club, mini golf and much more. If you have unwanted gachas or any type of resale items you could put them in any of the shops to sell for yourself and all proceeds are yours! It's been hard to get a community started because people want people there but it takes getting a start of people there to make it work. I also plan on starting a "wine and design" night one night a week with a prize to the best painting for each week. Anyway, if you'd like to check it out look up Charleston Heights and if you like it let's get one started! My husband, i and a few family members would live on this sim regardless, but it'd be nice to share it with others! I personally don't know of many communities on the mainland as 80% of it just seems like an eyesore.. Acacia Falls and Cocoa Bay are pretty sizeable. Also as somebody mentioned above, Boca(i've rented here several times before; mixed feelings), and also The Grove(also rented here. Nice, quiet, but kind of up there in price. Also you rent month to month rather than week to week). I think the next place I will personally try will be Cocoa Bay. We have now slowly transitioned into DFS - Digital Farming System, come take a look for yourself as some of the renters on sim have set up tiny little farming areas with animals and crops. We do have two large parcels for rent which is perfect for customizing your own home feel. Let me know how I can be of assistance!
