When you buy from individual you have no guarantee that this person is not a scammer. It is not worth loosing the money. You have many possibilities to buy L$ without risk. Don't look for better occastion. What seems to be cheap can be expensive.

I've seen VirWox recommended a few times here on Answers. It is on the list mentioned above but it's currency basis is the Euro. There are others on the list whose base currency varies.
