how much do they fork out per week/month

Sort of a "how long is a bit of string" question...

So, I will trhow it back at you, what are YOU going to offer this mythical sugar-daddy in return for his gifts?

True true

Not looking for a sugar daddy, so nothing 😃

I was just wondering how much they're expected to gift/give on SL.

It’s always a thing you should discuss prior to getting into that kind of relationship.

It doesn’t have to be L$, it could be objects or clothing, it just depends on what you agree on. How often factors in too.

Yes there are, yet far fewer than there are sugar babies looking for free stuff; and the $ to L conversion means that almost all of them are more like splenda daddies than anything else.

They exist, how much they offer varies, and they can be demanding in ways that can make it all not worth it.

If it is "expected" then that sugar-daddy will bail. I have a good friend who tends to be one, though he will deny it and doesn't see it that way. He spends 1000's of L$ a week or two on his "girl" through her MP Wishlist and he will drop gifts on people like crazy (it's rarely ever L$). I remember him mentioning that he loves the new "wishlist" option on MP. because then he knows it's something that person actually wants. Says he randomly checks of that is there and if so will often fulfill one on a whim. But never to *me*. ~sad face~ LOL

So... protip: always use your MP wishlist

So adding a link in your profile to your SL Marketplace wishlist is a way to get gifts from a sugar daddy? 🤔

Bahaha, I see what you did! ~winks~ Thank you! :) Good thing I know how to find *anyone's* wishlist. Because URL is similar to web profile URL. :)

As anyone with the right knowledge will find your wishlist anyways (unlike Casper's it's public) it looks also a bit... greedy?

Which is like 1% of SL population. ~snorts~ If putting the link into my profile makes me greedy, then I am greedy, but only in your mind, which is of no concern to me. (That's a general 'you", not specific "you", Fionalein).

I also see it as sort of an "edumacation" for others, as I get IM once in a while (yes, still) asking about it as they never realized market place has wishlists now. (Yes, edumacation is misspelled intentionally).

I don't know what I'd put in there! Maybe some full perm furniture.

Yep - I've been know to randomly gift folks, though I tend to use an alt most of the time so that it is anonymous.
