Unable to login to SL

Hello,  my wife had been trying to login and she can't login for the past hours. Does anyone know if there are currently issues in SL logging in?

First place to check is the grid status https://status.secondlifegrid.net/

which has no issues currently.   Does she get a message when she tries to log in?

What type of problem is she having - what viewer is she using? how far into the log-in process does she get before experiencing the problem?  

I was just able to log in, and there are over 45K accounts currently online, so not indicative of a major issue. 

I have seen sometimes where a particular country or section of a country has an issue with ISP service in that area which prevents people from that area of the world from logging in until the ISP issue is fixed, so that could be a possible factor. 

Has she tried logging into a different region (in case the issue is with the location she's trying to log in to)?

Are you able to log in?

apparently she's able to login now, it was an intermittent issue. Not sure either our ISP or it's the SL blip.

I am having the same issue myself and its not been resolved. This has happened several times this week.

There are a lot of different factors that can cause issues with logging in. 

Which viewer are you using and at what point in the login process are you experiencing issues?  Are there any error messages displayed? 

Are you using wireless or a wired connection? 

Have you tried logging into a different region when that happens? 

You could also take a look at the troubleshooting items on https://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/login_fail and/or http://blog.nalates.net/2011/10/26/troubleshoot-your-sl-connection/ for things to work through and check.
