moving entire house, contents and all... possible?

is it possible to move an entire house and it's contents at once to another piece of owned land?

if so, how?

Ok, if it's your land, and the destination parcel is adjacent...

You should be able to use the objects tab in "about land" to highlight and select all your rezzed items, failing that, opening the edit window and using a drag box can do this, or shift-leftclick on each item...

Regardless, once you have all the objects you wish to move, selected, simply drag them by the edit-move-arrows, across the line to the other parcel.

If the other parcel is NOT adjacent then instead of dragging the items around by the edit-move-arrows, you RIGHT click and "take" the whole lot back into inventory as a grouped object, which you can rez at the new place.

it's not adjacent. i clicked take and it only took the house.

It will only take what you have actually selected...

Still, with the house out of the way, things are easier to select...

Build menu, top of the screen... options, make sure you don't have it set to only select visible objects

this will only work if you will rezz it back exactly in the same setting, it will not work well if you use another house,

also, be sure to have the build tool open when you rezz or you'll get a real mess when your a little out of exact place.

And will only work if your parcel is the same size or larger, or you might end with failing rezzing by short of free LI after

The selected items will take a name from one of the objects in the total, check it after taking, the next day you might not remember.

Just be careful, taking a conglomeration with nocopy to another parcel can sometimes cause content loss if any of the nocopy items end up underground or off the edge of the region. I've been bitten by this three times in 12 years ("Object went off world" and it didn't come to lost and found)

Personally I think it's easier to pack up rooms in a conglomeration, rez the home new, then in build mode, rez each conglomerated room onto a prim and adjust it into place.
