I've looked all over google for url's to play music in my home in game and am having no such luck. i don't understand how to do it on "shoutcast"

in the tags i listed the type of music genre i'm looking for and bands that i like.

or is anyone aware of a CURRENT list of stations that maybe i've just overlooked?

IF anyone is willing to help me figure this thing out, the shoutcast station i like is:

XI Rock - Modern and Alternative Rock - Modern Rock

thanks to all who take the time to read, even if you're unable to help me.

For shoutcast, right-click the download icon.  Pick the .pls version and Save Target As...
Save this file to your computer.

Next, open the file with notepad.  It should look something like this:

[playlist]numberofentries=3File1=http://216.189.154.113:8000Title1=(#1 - 2/40) XI Rock - Modern and
Alternative RockLength1=-1File2=http://37.187.110.147:8000Title2=(#2 - 4/50) XI Rock - Modern and
Alternative RockLength2=-1File3=http://37.187.110.147:80Title3=(#3 - 4/50) XI Rock - Modern and
Alternative RockLength3=-1Version=2

What we are after is the URL that comes between "File1=" and "Title1=" right near the start of the file.  In this case, http://216.189.154.113:8000

It's not hard but then again it is not trivial either.  Once you do it once or twice it shouldn't be difficult at all.  However, if you are like me you have to look up the process every time :(
