Credit card for account upgrade not longer working

The problem is probably not your card, its the payment system, it has been having problems for a few weeks for residents outside of the US.

The irony is that if you try to submit a ticket they will probably tell you that you need to upgrade to premium before they will deal with it LOL :D

The best you can do is keep calling the free billing number and tell them that you have done as they suggested and its still not working.

Sometimes it works if you "increase credit" on your account instead of trying to buy lindens directly, so that it adds a US$ balance to your SL account and then you can try buying lindens so that it uses the credit. But that won`t solve the problem of you trying to upgrade your account.

Hello Marcus. Submitting a ticket here is no the best idea when as you said you arent a premium member. So for my opinion try to call again. Maybe different hour, different people and maybe finally a solution. Alternatively you can send a mail to support@payments.secondlife.com

If now the problem remains and you need to buy lindens, you can use one of the authorized third party L$ exchange sites, clicking the following link: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/L$_Marketplace
