Someone just moved in across the street from me, and put up a replica of the Lincoln Memorial and a giant floating copy of the Emancipation Proclamation.

I guess someone got offended by my Confederate-themed decor.

Luckily I have object entry disabled, because they have four cannons pointed at my Great Hall.

*grins*

Why do you have a giant fence railing over your...warehouses?  And why are half of the posts on the railing on backwards?

You'll have to take that up with Linden Labs. It's the supports for the city monorail system.

I really did get a fantastic deal. Under  $5 L per sq m for protected land front and back on Zindra.

*squints to see the flag*

I'd have posted a closeup, but if you could see the flag clearly, someone would have reported the picture for "hate speech".

I think it’s a subconscious metaphor - confederate supporters are on the wrong side of history.

Try imagining for a minute if the American War for Independence had failed.

Since there are so many America haters in here, I can only imagine they would say that would have been a good thing.

You'd have abolished slavery 30 years earlier, without the need for a civil war, and without people still celebrating those that fought to keep people chained in the fields?

And of course the war was fought to free the slaves right?
