@MahlikHenderson
I see  from your other posts you are having the problem filed at BUG-225655 - Viewer freezes while "Loading world..." - Intel HD 620 / Intel HD 630, Windows 10

This problem appears to have started with a recent Windows 10 update & is mostly affecting Windows 10 systems with Intel HD 620 & Intel HD 630 graphics, though there have been a couple of reports from users with Intel HD 530 graphics too.
No-one knows the cause yet.
Unfortunately installing the latest drivers directly off the Intel site does not fix the problem.

It's an odd one.
My laptop has Intel HD 630 graphics & I'm not affected.

ahh … will SL solve this or is it up to us?

thanks for your post...

very helpful

LL can't solve it until the exact problem is known, and it sounds like that is not the case yet.

Find your current driver version.  Then you could try going to the Intel site and downloading an older driver version than whatever you have and basically downgrade yourself to see if that fixes the problem.  Even if that does fix your problem, I'm pretty sure that Windows 10 will try to update the driver to the latest version again.  Thus you are then in a continuous cycle of having Windows update things and then you downgrading the graphics driver and rinse repeat over and over until the problem is actually solved.  Or you'd have to turn those updates off and that isn't an easy process and has its own disadvantages.  In any case, downgrading the driver version might at least indicate where the problem is and get you logged in.

My last windows update date is Oct. 17 according to the windows update history, but I updated the graphics driver to ver. 24.20.100.6290 on 25th on my pc supplier's site. The strange thing is that I was able to use SL as usual until around 5pm 26th.

I tried updating the graphics driver to ver. 25.20.100.6326 on Intel site to no avail.

I'm going to ask the pc supplier what the version of the driver was so I can roll back the graphics driver to see if that helps.

Try logging in with a brand new alt... Worked for me and I'd be interested to know if it works for you. My current theory is this is all to do with your avatar type and clothes.
