Marketplace home page issues

Some people ,my self inc.. are having a issue with the mp site..when you log in and click "home" it takes you to the LL log in web page..this has been going on for a while now.

Which home page do you mean? I believe the HOME button goes to your SL Account page. if you want the front page of MP just click the MP Logo in the top-left.

Even so - a re-login is often forced because L$ (which is real money) is involved, browser cookies expire quickly. If there's no activity for more than a few minutes then you are silently logged out. This is to protect you. Some browsers, (I use Cliqz, a super-secure version of Mozilla,) will keep the Market Place going as though I am logged in - even over a few days and only forces me to the login page when I try to actually buy something.

Other browsers I've used do pretty much what you describe.

no, that's MP startpage, not "home"...
if you want to go to MP start page, you have to click MP logo, as Alyona also said in her answer.

ok.. i been doing it that way for..oh.. 6 ..7 years.. now it doesn't work that way ..or i been doing it wrong all these years and they finally caught me? lol

It *could be* that they have changed it because it is inconsistent. If you click the "Home" button on these forums, you go to Communities Homepage. BUT, if you click the Communities logo - you go to account home page. So you are not losing your mind!

I don't know whether it was a recent change, or if I've just been blind and not seen the tiny 'Home' link on the very top bar of the MP home page.  I've always had a hard time getting back to my account dashboard from the MP.  Either way, now that I know that link is there, and how it works, I'm happy.
