Exploring the mainland.

Some time ago I write a series of post, about a trip around the mainland by boat: Sailing around the world in Second Life
Just recently I compiled all those blogposts to one very looooong story. It all starts in blake sea, goes once around Nautilus and Satori and then heading back home to the blake sea.

I discovered a lot of interesting places and found my selfelf in weird situations.

Spent the last few days exploring many of the Islands, Atoll's and Archipelagos in and around the Blake Sea. There's some interesting builds like this sand castle at Valenza, and places to stop or rezz boats inflatables etc. like the rez zone marina at Emin and Feasting at Glytch hunting sims like Volterra

I know those places! I recognize the first and second screenshots, I practice my heli landing a lot on the place in the 2nd screenshot  it's near Grunion (SLWS Airport) where I buy a lot of my helis from, so I go there a lot.

Explored southeastern Sansara with some friends 3 days ago c= drove a bus from my place at Kuula down to Black (and then tried to cross to the offroad hilly bit but it was too much and the bus tipped over) was laggy but fun, we drove to the new intercontinental channel that connects Jeogeot to Sansara (or at least where it would be at southeastern sansara)

I bought a horse a while back and use it sometimes to explore the mainland highways. Quite fun! There are stops on some of the routes with maps of the mainlaind, which I blogged about  https://evangelinearcadia.blogspot.com/2014/10/road-tripping-second-life-routes-route-9.html

There are rez points on most routes so if you have a vehicle you can rez it and use it to travel on the highway. Or the little pods are fun too.

I may have passed you on one of my motorcycles when driving on the mainland, as I've encountered folks horseback riding on the mainland roads on occasion.

As in RL I'd slow down and make a wide pass

Found this plane perfectly balanced and rotating around an obelisk for who knows how many years now (I've seen many of that kinda obelisk land around mainland, but never 1 with a plane stuck on it lol, someone must've crashed into it or crashed far away then the plane flew there)
