Noir,

I'm sorry you're having all these problems trying to sell $L.  The advice you've gotten is good, but maybe if I set it down in order it will make more sense.

1.  You have to have BOUGHT $L at least once before you can sell them.
2.  You must have a VERIFIED PayPal account.  "Verified" means that you have done the verification process on the PayPal web site to link your PayPal account to a RL credit card or bank account.
3.  According to Fiona, you now need to have at least $25.00 USD in your PayPal account to do transactions with Linden Lab.

So, here is what to do.

1.  Get your PayPal account verified, following the instructions at PayPal's site.  This can take two or three business days.
2.  Transfer some money from your bank to PayPal...at least $25.00, but I would transfer about $50.00.
3.  Set PayPal as your payment method for Second Life, using Account/Billing Information.
4.  Buy some $L.  I would buy $10.00 USD worth, or about $L 2500.  Use the "Instant Buy" option.
5.  WAIT 30 DAYS.
6.  Sell your $L.  You can use the Instant (Market Sell) option, or you can try to get a little bit better price by using the Limit Sell.  See my blog post, "Trade $L Like a Pro."
7.  Once your $L are sold and the proceeds are credited to your $USD Balance, go to Account/Linden Exchange/Manage and select Process Credit.  Follow the guidance there to transfer some or all of your $USD Balance to your PayPal account.
8.  WAIT 5 to 7 BUSINESS DAYS.
9.  Profit!

Bear in mind that you will wind up paying some fees, so you won't get all of your money.  You pay a flat fee of $1.49 USD every time you buy $L.  You pay a transaction fee of 3.5% when you sell $L.  You pay a processing fee of 2.5% (with a $3.00 minimum and a $250.00 maximum) for a Process Credit transfer.  You may have to pay a Value Added Tax (VAT) and/or a currency conversion fee, depending on where you live.

Also note that PayPal is not available everywhere.  For example, if you are Turkish, you can't use PayPal.  But you can use Skrill, which is another money service similar to PayPal.

Do you mean process credit and withdraw your L$?  Your profile shows no payment information on file.  This would be your first step.  Here are some links to both things.  Eitherway having payment info on file is what you need first.  Using a credit card, paypal or skrill

now this gives me a thought....... you most likely never bought L$ .. so won't be able to sell .

Buy a small amount L$, than wait 30 days and you can sell your L$ to send it to RL.

You can't sell L$ until you have bought some.  Ethan is correct, to start your account limits you have to buy first then your 0L$  amount will rise over 30 days

thats not directly relevant, even  10.000.000 won't make the rules different.

You need to have bought L$ on the lindex to get your limits rising. If you bought L$ it will take 30 days before you'r able to sell L$ and transfer the exchange amount to paypal.

just the minimum buy

it's not too difficult to find some answers yourself, the website where you buy L$ shows the minumum amount when you try to enter lower than accepted. It's $ 2.50

If you placed the order using the right side of the screen (Best Rate Buy / Limit Buy), you should cancel the order via your LindeX Order History and resubmit the order using the left side of the screen (Instant Buy / Market Buy).  The Limit Buy will take forever to fill if you simply used the default values.  See images below.

This looks like you are trying to buy L$ - at the Market Buy (fastest way) - but that your payment method is not working.   What type of payment method do you have specified?

 

Edit:  From title, I'm assuming PayPal -- thus is your PayPal account VERIFIED?
