There has been a JIRA around for a while about profiles showing as blank https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-3750

If you read through the comments on there, one thing that it seems does it affect it is whether people have show Display Names switch on or off in their preferences. Try some different combinations with preferences settings and if nothing resolves it for you, add your comments to he JIRA saying exactly whats happening in your case and what settings you are using.
