some alts not able to log onto sl on lap top on win10

I have an issue with logins. On my laptop, some of my alts i cannot log in as  yet all my alts log in fine on my computer that runs on windows  7   my friend is having the same issue   why is this. is there something i am missing some setting or something?

I am having a similar issue and it appears to be involving some outfits.  I can have an Avatar logged in and try to change outfits and the screen goes black.  Log-off and into a chat only viewer, remove the outfit and I can login to Firestorm again.  The SL viewer has the same issue.  I am guessing that it is a setting in preferences but haven't found it yet. Julianna, try stripping your avatar and see if it can login to the laptop, it will tell you if it's related to some sort of attachment that was on the avatar.

If you can afford to, delete the profiles in the viewer (maybe save the chatlogs) ... I had that too once in FS - Singularity and Lab-viewer let me log in back then, deleting profile fixed it (maybe does for you as well or doesn't - try everything else first I'd say).
