Graphics card help

not sure if im even supposed to post in this category lol but meh

 

im looking to get a tower, for sl, to take better photos, currently using a average laptop

with no graphics card

 

so I have been looking at this tower, could someone tell me if the specs would be good for sl pictures or not? thx! ❤️

 

and dont be rude about we weren't all born knowing this stuff lol

Should run SL.... be better if the CPU/APU is also from AMD. Better Synching then.

AMD cards are decent but for SL you might want to get an NVIDIA card with comparable price and performance instead, because as far as I know NVIDIA cards work better with SL.

I think it's quite capable for SL, as with all cards set your draw distance realistically and control how complex your shadows are. 

An NVidia 1050 or 1050ti is also an option you can look at. SL is an opengl based game and many consider that NVidia is slightly better at opengl then AMD. I don't have the experience to say if this is true or not, just that I use an NVidia myself and find no problems with the brand.

"synching" is not a thing, it'll be the same with any other processor

neither has any benefits over one another for the sake of SL, this idea is based on an issue from over a decade ago

@KawaiiDuirii it'll be fine for SL if thats what your budget allows
