I've had this account for a few years, but quit for a hot minute and recently came back. I like anime, drawing, cats, seals, sea slugs, video games, all kinds of stuff! I absolutely love art and making stuff like mesh Jewellery and I like painting and texturing things. Alongside art I love the clubs in secondlife and listening to live singers. The games that I enjoy in Secondlife include Lindo and Crystal Craze because playing games is a good way of finding new places. I'm Karalyne and I havent long started playing SL. I have to admit that I was completely lost to begin with, but have found a lot of helpful resources online to help me get up and running, although there's still a whole world of knowledge still to be learned which i'm looking forward to getting into.in the coming weeks and months. I've always been quite punky and alternative in dress style but don't like to exclude myself with labels and enjoy good music of all genres and tastes. I've recently been looking at DJing here on SL too. I think this could be good fun as I've had experience with internet radio stations and online music projects. I also play guitar and sing and have experience playing live gigs. So the idea of being able to do that here on SL intrigues me too I'd like to eventually invest in real estate and create houses, shops, clubs and more once I learn how to (My mind is currently buzzing with ideas). But I still have a lot to learn before getting that far. So, I'm currently just walking around getting the hang of the controls and learning how to do things. I'm hoping soon to start a garden or farm and build it up from there so that by the time I have a substantial amount of capital to invest in Real Estate, then I'll hopefully have a good bit of skill and experienced acquired by then to be able to do it all. I'd like to meet people who would be willing to teach me how to do things. Ideally people with similar goals. But this is not essential as I'm still just discovering the SL world and all it's possibilities. So my mind is still open to new ideas and collaborations. I am also a Transgender girl and would be nice to meet more people like me too but I enjoy making friends with all sorts of people of all genders, races and backgrounds. At that time I read an article in a Spanish newspaper about SL (I was living in Spain at that time). SL hadn't been going long then but I was fascinated by the potential to have a new life through virtual reality. I am a transgender female as I have always been on SL and would love to meet other transgender females. I'm not a great one for talking about my private life in the real world and prefer to stick to SL world topics. I've found some wonderful places to dine on SL and would like to have dinner and a chat with others. I like to look my best in SL and love meeting people who also take a pride in their avatars. I like to live by the sea as it's so calming. Aoart from dining out in SL I love dancing in low lag places. Lots is different, some is the same. Most of what I knew then doesn't apply any more, like how to make a classic avi look ok, or how to make casino owners spend money on gear. But avoiding drama, dodging sim corners at speed, joining prims without flicker, ...those are talents that still apply every day! Since returning I've found my dream house and my dream boat - both absurdly large - and constantly seeking the perfect sailable waterfront parcel that will hold them both. I’ve been away from SL for 8 years, and upon returning… I have totally lost track of everything! 💦 Lately I’ve been wanting to hang out a bit more, (possibly spruce up a nice AV once I understand things better) I’d love to meet some new people, and chat and chill in comfy spaces. I’m an artsy kind of person, and generally a little quiet and open minded. I like to roleplay and draw. I’ve spent a lot of time in the past just dawdling and enjoying looking at low-lag worlds, however on a wider scale I’d love to meet with people who could bless me with some teaching experience, since I really enjoy learning new tricks and tools. I will admit, I need a little hand-holding at first. The avatars were what initially lead me to SL a years back, I’ve always loved creating things and the extents people can go to amazes me!
