Hello Sanche. If you see you like an egg, means that your avatar hasnt fully loaded. At first, try to reload with "Ctrl+Alt+R". Open your inventory, type something in filter there and wait fetching ALL your items till the the last one. After try to change outfit. Try also another region with less lag.

Something else you can do is to test your avatar. In Viewer 2 give the command: Menu Develop (Ctrl+Alt+Q --> Avatar --> Character Tests --> Test Male / Female

If the problem remains clear your cache. Usually it helps:

(XP) - C: - Documents and Settings - (USER NAME) - AppData - SecondLife
(Vista) - C: - Users - (USER NAME) - AppData - Local - SecondLife
(Win 7) - C: - Users - (USER NAME) - AppData - Roaming - SecondLife

Delete the everything into that folder and restart first your computer and after the program.

Create a folder, name it something easy to find so you can always keep it in your inventory for future use, like Normal Me or whatever.
Put a copy of your usual basic components in there...Skin, shape, eyes, hair (including bald base) & a basic shirt and pair of pants.
Right click on the folder and select REPLACE

or

Go to your Library Clothing folder & drag one of the avatar folders on to your avvie.

or

Reset your avvie to default, depending which viewer you are using this is done here:

Advanced Menu >>Character>>Character Tests >> Test Male (or Female)
or
Developers Menu (ctrl alt Q)>>Avatar>>Character Tests>>Test Male (or Female)
