With these new Fantasy Linden homes being added during the weekend there is now 27, 050 regions in Second Life now. Yay! 

It seems like Nelson Eddy and Hanshin regions are the closest points for entry to the new sub continent.

The question is whether we will be able to see into the new fantasy regions just a short distance away at these points or whether they will connect up. Hopefully the latter, even if just in these two locations.

In time there will be a water connection most likely. At full draw distance at the closest point I can't see anything yet. Hopefully we will be able to access the sub continent in the days/weeks ahead. 

It's amazing how much empty space there is for upcoming Linden Home themes. Maybe a place where the old Linden Home continents can be moved to with further expansion.

I thought the Fantasy area was not going to be joined to the rest of Bellisseria? If it doesn’t connect, you’ll not be able to look into it.

Here are a few things that may relate to GlimmerBelle's initial connection to Belli.

Thanks for highlighting those points Nika :) 

I love that Bellisseria is such a big part of the connection of the continents, and initially when the portal situation was first mooted I wasn't sure whether to consider it a bad thing or not. But having given it a great deal of thought, and walked through the Fantasy demo area I've come to accept the idea of its containment as good idea. So much so in fact, that I've packed my boxes and moved out of my camper in preparation to settle in a new Fantasy home. I still have my Houseboat and Victorian on my alt and original av respectively, so can still enjoy travelling around, but I'm hoping that there won't be any posts from people wanting an airport in the Fantasy area so they can land their 747 :P

There are other connection possibilities, of course.  For example, there is precisely one unnamed (SSPE) region in GlimmerBelle, and it happens to be opposite the Log coastal region, Rigamarole.  Y'all remember Rigamarole, yes?  Well, if you don't, you should visit and poke around!

Would a two-region long coral reef, or waterway with dense fog and little weird islands, or maybe a dragon castle (remember that cool beast the moles had at SL18B?) with a suspension bridge to a big rock at the border of Rigamarole,  or ... or ... be a portal of sorts?

They know, we don't.  But we will very soon.

*Many* more named regions have been added to fill the unnamed gaps seen last night, and all regions are now green. I won't be able to amend my alphabetical listing until later tonight, but here is the map as of 8:15am SLT Monday. (Note the mole party going on just below the one still-unnamed region on the entire continent. Portal landing spot, maybe?)

UPDATED LIST OF FANTASY REGIONS 

(Note: 2 regions have changed name since yesterday: Ojibway is now Lac Emeraude and Onsen is now Diary of Riddles, but I goofed and didn't delete Ojibway on line 113 before taking the screen grab :(  And line 164 should be The Chosen One. Bad proofreader, bad!)

If LL follows the Legendarium created by Tolkien, the Eldar left Middle Earth during the Great Journey in boats resembling swams, the Falmari.

It would be amazing to sail those boats to get to the new continent, an updated ancient way for exploring Bellisseria.
