The most green dots I've seen in SSP since I started watching. I hope this means an announcement is coming soon.

Houses or an event area?

Edit: Actually looking at these, it's possible the Lab uses their awesome god powers to move old regions in temporarily from backups, and copy previously created assets from them over and into the Special September Party place. Who needs inventory with (effectively) OAR files.

It's looking like it will be a good continent. All those streams will be interesting. SL doesn't have many streams in hills. I wonder how that will work out. Animated streams with running water would look nice. With a little work, you can have a waterfall or rapids at a sim boundary. One of the private estates has one.

(It's too bad there is no elevation info in the SL map. That would have lots of uses.)

I will be spanked for this one: (Sansar Scrapping Project?)

Silly Kitty...

Whatever it is, it's almost certainly intended to help chisel more cash out of the user base to cover the Project Stupid Money Pit losses, and Project Stupid isn't due for "admit defeat and pull the plug" untill next year at the earliest...

So, obviously it actually stands for (Saving Sansar Project)

;)

Someone has to teach the Lab urban planning, especially suburban planning... seriously... rectangular grid streets? Those  are so 1920, we don't do those anymore ... they are ugly and ugly places make people unhappy. We have had better streets before... even the dreaded Bay City came with a tiling pattern that didn't make the sim's streets all straight everywhere.

Or it is the beginnings of an airport setup.

The wider gaps between the dead end side streets on the left side in that map shot are 64 m, the narrower ones are 32 m, so these are intended for rows of 32 x 32 parcels, that is to say... Madlands Entitlement Club 1024's.

Looks like the Super Secret Project isn't so super Secret any more huh...

The Neko's out of the bag now...
