I am looking for a head and/or head shape to match my own face. I have viewed many however I find that many are either too feminine or too mascline looking to match my own. I also find that the eyebrows on a lot of them are very bushy and un-groomed and my own are rather precise as I fill them with powder and brow mascara. Another issue is the eyelids on many male heads are rather hooded and my own are almond shaped.

Another issue is a lot of the fair skinned heads I feel look quite Hispanic or Latino  and while I find these types of faces very attractive, in RL and in SL, Im Scottish and fair skinned, so they don't resemble me.

Basically I am seeking a European fair skinned appearance, with fairly open eye sockets, a defined jaw line, full (but not too full) lips and clear skin.
I am not seeking compliments or insults on my appearance,  just some recommendations on head shapes and bento heads, and also facial modifiers that I could utilize to match my real life appearance. Currently I have an AK Leon, which does not look like me one bit.

Check out MXHADES-Hunter shape. ^^ it has a style card referance, I believe, so if it's not a skin as well it might reference what skin is advertised.

I know it uses the Catwa Victor bento head. But I'd like to recommend maybe looking at skins and shapes first before looking for a specific head, since those two things are what give the most options when it comes to trying for a specific sort of look. ^^

And if you buy a specific shape referencing a specific bento head, generally those are tweakable if you want to just change a couple of things--like the chin drop or something.

The majority of popular bento heads can be adjusted to some extent on their own with the edit shape sliders, so if you'd prefer trying to find the head first before the skin and shape, maybe demo a bunch of them and see if it's possible you can create the shape yourself instead of using the default advertised--if you haven't done this already. But also remember that the default skins to these bento heads are just simply that and there are hundreds of creators who have probably made a skin for that particular head that'll make it feel more like what you're aiming for despite how it was originally advertised.

Good luck!

Have you tried female skins on male heads?

Skell posted about this, a while back, if I recall correctly. Maybe he'll chime in here, as well; his advice on head-type subjects is very good, or you could try his blog.

You have a very strong square jaw, which can be found on male heads, but other features that remind me of some female skins. Try head creators that make both male and female heads, and then try on some female skins. Deetalez makes some good ones that sort of reminds me of something similar to your photos. Catwa, for the head, maybe. But shop around. Not all appliers made for female heads will map correctly on male ones, but some actually look surprisingly decent.

ETA: I stand corrected! I do think you may find some features you like in female skins, and that some may work with a male head to give you the look you want; but Skell has certainly provided better options! I knew he'd know. ?

No need for a female skin to get your real life look, Eccose.

If I were you I would demo Catwa's 'Victor' and 'Skell' Bento heads, as those have starting shapes that you'll be able to tweak using the face sliders to get very close to your real life look. If you don't want to spend L$5000 on a Bento head, then the Catwa basic 'Justin' head is fairly close as well, and only L$900, but it can only be stretched in four directions; there's no slider customisation.

For skins I would look at Insol, who have brought out a couple of beautiful smooth and pale skins recently. Matching body appliers can be found at Bold & Beauty (if you opt for a mesh body; you appear quite slim, so I'd suggest either Slink Physique or Signature Geralt for a body). Another possibility is Avi-Glam, so have a look at both of those places and pick up some demos.

This is Insol's 'Tyson' skin in Tone 01 on the Catwa 'Skell' head:

As for those fierce brows, check out Identity Body Shop. They had almost-identical ones out at Hipster Men's Event a few months back, which should be in their mainstore by now. (I don't think they have their brows in their Marketplace store, so you'll need to look at their inworld store.)

For the light facial hair, try CDC Creations. Their beards are tintable, and their '46' one (pic here) might work well for you. Alternatively, Mister Razzor's 'Jordan' beard (also tintable - pic here) is similarly light, but has a more defined and thinner 'tache. (Note that, because Skell's hair is dark in those images, I've tinted his facial hair dark. You can just as easily get a much lighter colour. A tintable beard will apply completely white, so you just need to find the RGB colours you want, and input them to tint it.)

For the hair, try Stealthic. One of their styles (I think it's called something like 'Obscura') is similar to how yours is in your first picture.

Hope that helps get you started.

Skell is too modest to recommend his own blog, so I do it. ;) http://www.virtualbloke.com/

Skell is in the inworld support group for the Catwa heads, and I learn a lot from reading his posts about the various heads.

His Flickr is full of male looks that's a great fashion source for men in SL. https://www.flickr.com/photos/skelldagger/with/43653180242/

Thankyou everyone so much. I am a shoddy Forum poster. Firstly Skell. I have admired your work from Afar for some time. I love your blog , the Virtual Bloke. So thank you so much for your feedback I will Investigtate thouroghly your recommendations, Unfortunately I have a Belleza Jake body and I bought it because of the modern looking HUD and the fact that the texture and skin that comes with it is very HD. I didn't realise these could all be updated and changed If I went for a slimmer body like the Slink. the body will come next but first the head. so I will investigate the links you have shown me. I really love that photo and The fact you have your own Catwa head. I will have to try the demo! And those brows are AMAZING. Thank you because I searched everywhere and found none that I liked. Now you show me three different ones. You'd be such a great friend to have , in world. But I fear I'd just annoy you with incessant questions so I will  subscribe to your Flikr and blog.

Well, did you attach that silver leaves to the mirror frame, or did it come that way? Looks amazing.

Haha. It's actually a Christmas decoration that I put up.My grandma in law gave me a box of tacky Christmas decorations so she wouldn't have to take them to  A charity shop (goodwill store if your American) and I donated most of them to charity  but these gold/silver glitter leafs were just so me I kept them up all year round.

This is going to be a more trial and error approach but it's a fantastic idea. Your right the issue im having is that I have a feminine upper face and I have saw some on Deetalez that could be my identical twin sister.
