Why can I not find the search function in the viewer?

I do not know how to search for anytihng while using the viewer. Am I just stupid?

Hi Harvsauce,

Welcome to Forum. You need to change mode before logging in from Basic to Advanced. It is visible on screen before you log in.

Isn't even search available in Basic mode??? What are new people supposed to do when they log in for the first time? They can't do anything except walk around, and they can't search for anything, thus can not tp anywhere, and they can't buy anything, have no inventory so even if they could buy something they can't wear/use it...

Basic mode is under development probably. I hope that with time it will be adjusted to new Residents' needs more.

Hello Harvsauce. Being sure that you log in Advanced mode of Viewer 2 (In basic mode you cant see / use search), look at the top right corner of your screen. You see a magnifying lens. There you type a word or small phrase --> Enter --> A window opens which has 7 tabs. Depending the info you want to find, click on the suitable tab. Finally if you want to teleport somewhere --> click on the result --> Teleport.

@Peewee. So it is possible to tp to some places around the grid. Good to hear.

 

@Identity. Yeah. I saw changes to basic mode being mentioned in notes from the last community group meeting. Hope it won't take to long.
