can't delete old outfit folders

As a newbie I've been gleefully making outfits.  But now that I'm beginning to settle down and concentrate, I've found that outfit folders cannot be purged.  I have six permanently sitting in my Trash now, and a dozen more on the way.

 

Is there any way to delete these?  Yes, they're empty.

 

Sure, I can TRY to remember to retitle and reuse one whenever I want to make another outfit, but it's far too easy to forget, especially when I'm in a hurry to log off.  And I have a couple dozen of them.

I assume you have tried right-clicking the folder and selecting purge item, have you also tried right-clicking the trash folder and selecting Empty?

Hello LibGwen. If you mean one of the System Forders (1 of them called "My Outfits") you can NOT delete them. Have a look at the following link for more infos about them:

About the other folders now you cant delete them if you wear stuff which included into them. Remove the stuff and after you can delete.

Did you miss the parts where the OP said that they are outift folders, they are in her trash and they are empty?
