When "Adult" rating came along the "PG" moniker was removed and the "M" monicker took it's place, though the PG rules have never changed, only the rating designation from PG to M was changed. Anyone with the basic skill of deductive reasoning based on context knows that "PG" means "Mature" as far as land ratings go. It's the in-between of G and A.

Previously, the ratings were "PG" and "M", and "M" was used for the businesses that are currently considered "A". The old standards for PG were closer to the current "G" rating. http://forums-archive.secondlife.com/142/c2/226334/1.html Sometimes a search engine will trump deductive reasoning. And better than either would be to simply use the accurate current rating of the land.

If what you say means you *WIN!* then okay, you win. My point was and still is pretty simple: Context is everything. Current ratings are A, M, G from naughtiest allowed to super-prude. The old ratings were M, PG, G from naughtiest allowed to super-prude. The OP says "PG", which is still a habit with a lot of people to mean M, being the middle rating and essentially the same rule set, and "PG" being more recognizable in terms of placing it's location in the "ratings" system. But if you want to split hairs, then split hairs. Most with the simplest of deductive reasoning will clearly understand what the OP meant.

There were only two ratings. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/History/Adult_content Old timers usually say "PG" when they refer to "G." However, there's obviously some doubt since you seem to think that the land is "M", possibly because your deductive reasoning was based on not knowing how many categories there were when "PG" was used. And we still don't know the maturity rating of the parcel.
ellestones 706
there were 3 ratings previous. The 3rd was the teen grid restricted to ages 13-17, parental guidance advised when General-Moderate-Adult came to the main grid then G became the equivalent of Teen Grid PG. Adult became the extreme of the old Mature. Moderate became the remainder of old Mature plus the remainder of old main grid PG above Teen Grid PG there were differences between Teen Grid PG and old main grid PG, mostly around the levels of allowable violence
