If it keeps failing you can connect your prepaid to your paypal, and verify it with your bank account.

It might be a temporary problem, but in general, LL doesn't accept debit cards.  Many people who have been using them eventually run into this, when the card comes up for renewal.  Try using an actual CREDIT card, or use PayPal or Skrill.  (You may be able to use your debit card as a method to back up one of these services, even if you can't use it with LL directly.)

no its no problem with LL, it is a problem with your card. It is simply not suited for use on SL.

The 1$ is a test, your card has to be able to two way traffic, yours only did one.. thats why it fails.
It;s not really taken, it's a often used reservation, it will normally be restored within a day.
