Eros Eternal
Hey everyone, I am involved in the Toxian City RP but have not been too active in the community. I want to get into Roleplaying again and wanted to ask advice on how I should dress my avi and how I should make him look. Toxian City takes place in a dark modern urban setting. I am playing a "magic user" and would like my appearance to showcase this. Any tips, suggestions or stores to shop at would be greatly appreciated! Can't wait to hear everyones creative ideas. Thanks in advance!
Persephone Emerald
There are some good dark & futuristic freebie clothes at Lapointe & Bastchilde's freebie corner. Good regular outfits too. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Evocative/181/106/30 The White Armory has fantasy gowns, some of which could be futuristic magic-users (for female avatars obviously.) Join their group to get a free gown almost weekly or free suits of armor less often. They have male fantasy clothes too. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Emerald/160/130/25 Fire Horse has mostly male RP outfits, but not many futuristic ones. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Rosemary%20Isle/126/128/26 DV8 also has good futuristic outfits. Join their group & watch their Midnight Madness boards & Lucky Chairs for good freebies. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Lasombra/180/140/
Marianne Little
Maybe because I don't understand English well enough... I am a bit confused. For me, "Dark modern urban setting" and "Magic user" does not sound as they belong in the same Roleplay. I like the coats from Mr. Poet. You get a lot for your money. Well sculpted attachments too. This can be worn without the mask part, and several other options for the sweather, scarf and coat. The fedora is elegant and the eyepatch and scar under is a nice touch. The fedora does not come with hair, so you need to edit a hair to fit. Fedora: Illusions, eyepatch/scar, SiniStyle. They also have the "death dealer coat" if you want a more "all black" look. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/SiniStyle-Death-Dealer-Coat/163754 Eros Eternal wrote: Hey everyone, I am involved in the Toxian City RP but have not been too active in the community. Marianne Little
TonkTastic has great stuff, but more for military roleplay. But you could mix up it, and even if you use magic, it is handy to have a gun as backup? These combat pants come with the gun, you can toggle it off. Low lag scripts and fully removable, that is good for roleplay sims that can be laggy.http://www.flickr.com/photos/27764102@N02/5378727051/in/photostream
Jaylin Wytchwood
For a slightly Science-Fiction / Victorian - Look you might want to look at "Unzipped / Steam Powered Nuts", they have a few gorgeous outfits that work well for a "modern mystical" Coat-wearing Street Mage "GothiCatz" has a few nice leather-coats that might work very well. majestic12
Hi Eros: Many of these urban dark-near-future sims that have fantasy elements inside reminds of the tabletop game called SHADOWRUN. Do a search on the web under SHADOWRUN and look over the fashion on some of these urban magi. Good ideas...
