For 50 people in an adult club you would need to either buy a full region in Zindra - About US$3000-5000 purchase if you can find one (They are rare) and then US$175 each and every month.

Or you could rent a full private region from people like Bell Estates, Anshe, ... it's a long list, that would be in the order of US$270 or more a month.

Or you could buy a full private region from the Lab. Cost there will be US$340 to start and then US$240 a month (After July 2)

Yes, you will be paying the value of a small car.

It happens sometimes, but it's generally the result of the club being sold being more work then it's worth, and comes with a drama risk, and of course you won't own the objects which can cause problems. If you *really* want to start an adult club then it's better to do the work yourself.

Unless you are renting from someone then there is always an upfront cost then a monthly charge. That monthly charge is huge and it's always there. You won't make anything back in donations.

If I haven't already, I'm going to pop your bubble here a little more... On running a club in general (and I do): It's a lot of work - a full time job in itself. You will spend hours alone working hard broken up by short bursts of drama and problems.

If you still really want to do it, start small, go premium and get your feet wet with a small block of land in Zindra and aim for 2 or 3 regulars. Get a feel for it before you dream the impossible.

Clubs are a horrible idea unless you like to entertain folks - they usually struggle to break even. It is best to consider them a hobby you pay for.

With 50 people in the place, it won't stay non-lag for very long...

Rent a 1/4 sim in the private estates Islands, for about 4500 L$ a week, aim for 10-15 people, it's a lot cheaper, a lot less laggy, and you'll have more fun, since most of the people there will be people you KNOW and hopefully like.

Don't expect to make ANY money off it at all...

omg this game so expensive lol it doesnt give anything n wanna take all (i mean it gives u a super ugly avatar to start with that u have to spend arround 14 k to make it ok )

u see i come from another game called 3dx chat i was a builder n a host making lots of parties in my houses i even was building free ofc for other ppl .

there we had free basic house that we could rebuild however we like no matter size free.

so it was fun for me to build clubs n mansion n islands all for free as that game didnt have economy only ur monthly sub or year sub arround 7 euro .

and here i cant build n enjoy my house with massive parties cause i need tons off money :(

i dont work irl i study n im 20 years old n ofc i dont have 300-600 euro buy a land hahaha wth insane amount is this

like seriously they have to rethink those prices

those linden labs are not doing many things exept maintain game they dont make new avis  etc or create sex pose or anything so why they ask so much ?

The company name is Linden Lab (no s).

They maintain all the technical stuff and the support, as well as some developement work (mesh and bento, for example). Creating avatars or animations is not their job and would go against the very concept of Second Life. Second Life is a virtual world, created with the idea that the user build the world, creating their own content. Thats what drives the inworld economy. Linden Lab earns money mainly from the Linden exchange and from renting out mainland. If you rent an entire sim, you are essentially renting a part of a server.

No, its not. Your account is free. You are not forced to pay anything at all. Of course, if you want to engage in the virtual economy and buy and chose freely...well, yes you have to spent some money. But LL has nothing to do with that. Everytime you buy something, you are buying user created content. You aren't paying LL, you pay the person who made that item. You are of course also free to offer your own skills for money in various ways. And a decent look can be archieved with far less than 14k.

So far, the system has worked for around 15 years. But since you mention another virtual space, were you seem to have had everything you wanted for a price you prefered...I wonder what made you change.

Why would you want 50 people in a club? Aim for 15 and rent a 4096 somewhere.

The biggest reason clubs fail is owners start out too big, they rent a full sim, then think they will have their tier paid by all the renters that will flock to their place.

A club is a hobby, have one  because you enjoy having one.

Good Luck

Vacant nightclub in Zindra. L$7000/week.

If that's what you want, it's available. There are other vacant clubs in Zindra; just look around. Entangle is very impressive and, as far as I can tell, never used.

The OP is coming from 3dxchat, which I hadn't heard of before, even though it's been up since 2013. It's technically impressive, from the videos and reviews. The graphics are quite good, up to modern video game standards. VR headsets are supported. There are "rooms"; it's not a seamless world. The economic model is completely different from SL - it costs users $20/month, plus in-game purchases. So the operators encourage users to improve the world. There's no in-game economy, though; you can't sell objects to another user.

It started as just a sex game, but now users are doing roleplay and social activities in it. Apparently it got a big technical upgrade in 2017. The original small world has been enlarged. Building is now supported. Building is something like SL - ordinary users can build in world with prims. More elaborate pre-made objects can be created offline, but not by ordinary users. They even have vehicles.

Reading their forums is amusing. Now that they've scaled up a bit, they have SL-type problems. Lag due to too many objects in a room. Arguments over intellectual property in builds, because anybody can copy anything. Discussions of alt policy. Requests for more features in the building tools. Complaints that IM to mail messages are randomly failing.

The mainstream VR world has been ignoring this thing, because it's porn, but shouldn't. It seems to have all the things Sansar has, and more.

If I were going to make a club, I would start with a baseball bat, twelve billiard balls, six 1/4" X 6" bolts with nuts, a 1/4" drill bit and a counter sink bit.

I'd probably go with a good multi-grain bread, turkey, ham, a couple of different kinds of cheese slices, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle slices.

Judging from the overhead view of that build on the SLoogle Earth SLattelite map, it's a 1/16th sim plot or close enough?

Being Madlands, and A Rated, you are paying $7000 a week for 1300 ish prims LI, which seems excessive, unless there's a hell or a lot of unused dirt around the Unused-Ruins-of-Kama-City primwaste build and it's a lot bigger than a 1/16th, even as a 1/4 it would be expensive.

You could have a 1/4 of a FULL A Rated Island sim for under 4500 a week, with 5000 prims LI.

I certainly wouldn't recommend Zindra and dealing with the LandFlipper sharks there to a new person thinking of opening a small club.

That's tantamount to saying "Welcome to SL, please allow these conmen to shear you like a sheep before you rage quit and leave SL forever."

OMG - how did I manage to forget the BACON?

Amnesia caused by lack of the essential nutrients found in BACON.
