Free newbie items for my avatar?

Are there any, maybe? I mean I'm not trying to be all cheap here. I just don't have any more money right now and have to wait until next month until I'm able to get any.

You can try and search marketplace there are TONS of freebies, quality will be dubious on many though. Also there are stores that promote item hunts in world, some offer group gifts without a fee,  a lot of them have midnight mania and lucky chairs (boards that give away items for free). Use those terms on s earch you'll find a lot of free stuff!

What sort of body do you have? If you have the classic system body there is at least one freebie on offer at the SL15B shopping for system AV's and the Blueberry booth is giving out L$500 store credit they have some system AV stuff still available in their main store you could use the credit on but the alpha-ing is such they don't work on plus sized larger shapes
if you type Golden in to map you'll see the 4 sims making up the event if it's still mega popular it may take multiple attempts to get in to one of the sims

Otherwise a trawl through the marketplace will net you a bunch of classic AV freebies quality and fit will vary depending on brand

http://www.teleporthub.com should also be mentioned, the inworld group is like 10L for an entry fee.

W.A.N.T SL also covers group gifts.

I'm just using the normal body that I began with. Although I would eventually like to try another.

Also try dandelion daydreams factory, petite mort and pink fuel who also had newbie gifts (pink fuel was tricky, it is a vendour you can buy for 0L if you are young enough)

If you like tinies, Risusipo has free mesh bunny avi for everyone under 1 year of age.

The pink fuel one? it was a seperate vendour for classic skins with 0L buy... when I was below 30 days young I didn't find it

And you don't even have to join Teleporthub.com group (although it is a great group for free stuff). The website (obviously the same name) has long lists of free a group gift items. MOST of these are for mesh bodies. If you want to try a mesh body, the eBODY has a free one (actually two - one regular and one curvy). that only cost 1 linden to join the group.  

In general, these days most of the new items are for various mesh bodies.  

But as said there are plenty of items that are not.

Na, you need only locate them and touch them, just checked, no buying ivolved - and you need no payment info to buy anaything you just need Lindens (and not even those if the item is set to 0L price) if you cannot find them IM me inworld.

Alternately u can go to Lucy body slap their midnite board for their free mesh body.   They are giving it for free.   U can also try the altamura Valentina full avi, in one of the location.  It is still available for free.

I would Join the freebies gifts in world, they literally tell you whenever a new freebie is found.
