The difference between those two Firestorm versions has nothing to do with whether you are running a 32-bit or 64-bit OS.  They are both for a 32-bit system (although they would also run on a 64-bit system).  The difference is whether they include Havok physics (the OpenSim version doesn't).  That will really only make a difference if you decide to go to OpenSim and then discover that the viewer fails.  So.... if you plan to stay in SL, use the second one.

Now, as Sylvannas said, if you can't see mesh objects, it's not the viewer's fault.  You have your settings wrong or you have a machine problem.

If you still have the LL viewer installed, in the top menu bar of the viewer, go to Help -> About Second Life, click the "Copy to clipboard" button & paste all your system information here.

Is it ALL mesh you cannot see or only worn rigged mesh?
If it's only worn rigged mesh you cannot see, you likely have an intel card with an old graphics driver that needs updating.
