Can't Review marketplace item

Hi,

 

A friend of mine gifted me an item that I would like to leave a review for but neither of us can review the item. It says "You must purchase the product before you can review it." It is under the order history of my friends account. I found something that said I should be the one to be able to review it but I can't. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Ahh ok, Thanks for your reply. I wish they would fix it. It's really disappointing because the item I got was perfect and I wanted to add to the other reviews about how amazing it was.

You can't give it stars but you CAN comment to someone else's review. That might be the way to go.
