Someone seriously has too much time on their hands. Last night a bunch of my items were flagged for being in a wrong category when they weren't . So i re listed them again. Today another batch of items got flagged again. I always make sure to use the right category, keywords ect without abusing the system. I feel like I am specifically targeted. So is my friend . All of her items were de listed as well. and not for the first time. What should we do?

Contacting support? But if I'm right the support team for mp is different from the ones handling account issues (as far as I got a response from them on a mp issue long ago) you can try reaching them from the regular support I think

I ll wait a few more days, if this keeps up i will definately ask them to investigate.

There IS a category for "Marketplace" so that is where you want to be. Hopefully there is something under that category that is about harassment :D. They have added additional sub-categories and that is helpful.

My items are in sub categories, if that makes sense. Yet they are still being flagged. I dont raise smoke for no reason. And if you meant support categories - i will take a look at those.

I think she was talking about the support, the support having a Marketplace category

I got curious and went to your MP and no, you are not being  harrassed, I opened five random gacha items of yours and they are flag worthy.

https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/LODE-Head-Accessory-Magnolia-II-Single-yellow/12614249

Is currently in Avatar Accessories.
It should be in Avatar Accessories -> Hair -> Hair Accessories

https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/MIWAS-My-Ballet-Sock-1/14384299

Is currently in Apparel -> Women's.
It should be in Apparel -> Women's -> Woman's Intimates (preferably going one deeper -> Stockings)

https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/MIWAS-Vapor-summer-Transparent-Chocker-1/14741110

Is currently in Avatar Accessories -> Jewelry and Watches.
It should be in Avatar Accessories -> Jewelry and Watches -> Necklaces - Women's Necklaces

https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/parfait-NEKO-NAPTIME-5-white-bra-panty/14395450

Is currently in Apparel -> Women's.
It should be in Apparel -> Women's -> Women's Intimates -> Underwear

https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Yummy-Macaron-Fascinators-Strawberry/12646099

Is currently in Avatar Accessories -> Other Accessories
It should be Avatar Accessories -> Hair -> Hair Accessories

Would you like for me to continue? Again, you're not being harrassed, you're being rightfully flagged. It take s a Linden Employee to verify a flag, if your item gets delisted there is a reason for it.

There is a hint there. LL does not delist items just because somebody flagged them, they do check first and will only do something if they agree that the flagging is justified.

That being said, yes those categories can be rather confusing so no wonder merchants get lost sometimes.

I have a gacha alt myself. When your item gets flagged and a linden lab employee delists it after judging that it's indeed in the wrong category, the flagging message will tell you the correct category to put it under. So that should help aleviate the confusion (and should have told the OP that she indeed chose the wrong category since the suggested one will NOT be the one they put the product under initially). Unfortunately it's after the fact of being flagged.

I do agree the categories need to be overhauled.

And i don't need your passive agressive tone. I simply freaked out and asked for help. I don't have problem admitting my mistakes where they are due.

You didn't have problems until now because no one bothered to go through your items. This system entirely rely on user reports.

Ex: When I see a store that is abusing keywords (I hate keyword spam with a passion), I will go through their ENTIRE store and report every single item that breaks the listing rules.

If you behave badly with one of your products, it's very likely that you are doing that on your entire store, so it's worth checking it out.

Not sure why you are taking such a defensive stance when I didn't intend to be agressive but went out of my way to spend time in trying to help you out in understanding that your products are indeed in the wrong place. I even offered to go through more of your MP to lead you to the right categories to place your products in so there'll be no more getting flagged.

Good to know it was wasted time, I made a note of that and will refrain from wasting any more trying to help you in the future.

Greetings!

The Marketplace has a LOT of sub-categories, for a reason.

You can view a full list of all of the currently available categories through the forum post here:

While we understand that the categories and sub-categories can be confusing, it is very important that sellers ensure that their items are in the correct sub-categories as outlined on the Marketplace Listing Guidelines, located here:

https://marketplace.secondlife.com/listing_guidelines

If your products are unlisted by Linden Lab as a result of a flag report, you will receive 2 messages. One will be displayed on the Second Life Marketplace itself the next time you log into the site, and if you have email settings enabled, an email will be sent to the email address on file for your account with information regarding the item that was unlisted/blocked and the reason why.

If your items are unlisted it is extremely important that the issue be corrected, or the seller contacts SL Customer Support before the items are listed again.  Repeat violations will result in access to the items being blocked or the sellers store being disabled for the repeated violations.

Sellers, do NOT ignore the emails/notifications if your items are unlisted.   The Marketplace Listing Guidelines policy is directly tied to the SL Terms of Use and Linden Lab Terms of Service.

If you have reviewed the email and the Marketplace Listing Guidelines and you are still unsure why your items were unlisted, you should contact Customer Support using the Marketplace - Marketplace Listing Issues options in the Support Portal so that we can assist you as quickly as possible with understanding why your item or items were unlisted.
