I have not been able to edit linked parts for about a week now.When I click on the box, it just goes blank and detaches from the object I was trying to edit..Please help me..I have a group and this is delaying me on filling supply boxes that I have there for them. I have looked all over the internet for answers and found just one similar post here from 5 years ago with no solution. I have the most current version of Firestorm.

In the top menu of the viewer, go to Build -> Options.
Make sure that you have none of the following ticked: Select only my objects, Select only moveable objects, Select only locked objects, select only copyable objects.
Make sure "Include Group-Owned objects" is ticked.

Does that fix the problem?
