Do you know that feeling, you see some furniture in a certain style everywhere, and when you try to find it again some weeks or months later, it's hopeless to find it?

I need some new fresh outdoor furniture, a sofa lounge set, sofa and chairs, table too. It should be in rattan or wicker. Absolutely not wood. Corner sofa is possible if it has a back, so it does not have to stand against a corner.

Must be low li, but look great.

Mmmh, here's a few places I came across lately or have known about for years, might be worth taking a look. I'm gonna link you to the MP because I am downloading a game client in the background so my SL connectiong is a bit iffy at the moment.

JC Creations: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/82573
especially this one: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Couch-Tikehau-JC-274-animations/11427276
Coincidentally I had checked that couch set just yesterday in world and I was pretty impressed with the animations, especially the ones that rez books, coffee, magazines, tables, even a freaking phone while you sit (and much more) automatically into your hand. I wish more people would make use of that avsitter feature! I personally dislike the furniture that offers you an inventory item each time that you have to manually wear. As soon as LL gives me feedback on whether or not I am getting that abandoned land I filed a ticket on I'll def be purchasing this set just because it's so interactive. Their other stuff is really nice, too!

TM Creation: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/23454
Been shopping there on and off for years. You might find something useful, they got tons of stuff!

Tiki Tattoo: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/12636

I love the texturing work here but customer service is non existent, treat with caution.

Also worth a look:

Bahia Tiki: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/4025
Headhunter's Island: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/16691

I remember M. LAW Designs having also some nice stuff -but- and this is why I haven't spent ALL my Linden there....all their stuff that I sat on had ONLY couple animations. No single sits at all. Wtf.

I bet those are unattractive to designers because wicker/rattan has a pretty high poly count, now add in the outdoor aspect (needs to have good LOD or will crumble to triangle dust  from the other side of your garden) and you have an LI monster. If you find any good ones none the less please tell us.

Can't decide whether to hit "like" or "thank you". So I'm simply agreeing.

Not mention moi chez example... no, the other way round ... example of "set your renderLODfactor to 8.000 to kill your machine, but your last sight will be my furniture in all its glory!". Or perhaps I just did.

I went there once, and gave up after like 5 minutes because ***** wasn't loading. My comp isn't a potato, my connection is decent but that store pretty much brought both to its knees. First and only store so far to have that happen at.

PrimPossible is on my "maybe" list. I saw them on the MP, but something put me off. I should see that inworld. The LI is cerainly low enough.

But what is it with Cheeky Pea? I have been in their store, I think, and didn't notice bad LOD. I don't care if others see a blob. I should go there. Nothing on the MP was tempting me, but maybe they haven't listed everything there.

And I am not sure if Chez Moi is bad... Actually, one of their sets is top of the "maybe list". It's this one: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/CHEZ-MOI-FURNITURES-Iron-Patio-Set-PG/10583012

The lines and pillow forms is nice and if I can't find rattan, at least it isn't wood. I have too much wood outdoor furniture.

Rattan texture should be good enough, I am sure materials texture will look good. I wasn't thinking it should be real weaved mesh? As long as it looks good.

I have the feeling, that I've seen so much outdoor furniture already before Easter. I can't find it again. Let us say I want to see what's new. Clean straight lines on pillows should put it on the "maybe" list.

So I find Cheeky Pea mainstore, but where are all the great furniture? Not as an insult, but it is almost nothing displayed.

Using search directly to Cheeky Pea outdoor, dumps in in a large hosta plant and no outdoor furniture to see. I must do something wrong.

So I just went to Cosmopolitan and bought Goose's new rotan lounge chairs, and I really hope they make a sofa set in the same style! I would buy it. Still looking for a sofa set but could not resist this.

So pretty, and they rezzed really quick for me.

My problem with them, at least based on the MP, is that 99% of their stuff is No Mod.  I'm done with spending money on no mod furniture.

No mod and close to 1000 L for one set that is no copy, just to add injury to insult. I went there to look, and even their flowers is expensive. I saw one or two potted ones, and they come in full set s with lots of flowers I dislike. Pay 111 L and get all the flowers, but just one that I like, so I can't even set one plant on each side of something, unless I pay for a new set, or buy all it full permissions. and pay 1000 L for them.

Thank you for the help navigating in Cheeky Pea. Their LI is a bit too high for my wishes, but the main pieces (sofas, tables, chairs) have a nice low LI, even if stuff like umbrellas will stay in my inventory, I think. I got two full sets. one jacuzzi and some knickknack.

Price is OK for that quality.

Got 2 sets from Chez Moi too. With the things I already had, I should be able to fill up the massive deck areas on this house: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/ROOST-Palm-View-House/9811902

I agree with these two posts. I always turn my graphics setting down to medium and LOD down to 2 when shopping for home stuff, especially outdoor furniture. I hate these cute stores that have crap LOD. Stop tempting me!

Oh, I have LOD permanently to 4000 in Firestorm. That thought of reducing it just for shopping never crossed my mind.

Just me, I suppose. But I can't say I have a gamer rig. A 2 year old Lenovo laptop and well... it works for SL? Even with a higher LOD than 2000.

I have a top end computer. I run at 4 LOD and very high graphics. But I care what the average Second Life user sees. But of course that depends on what matters to you. I also pay to live in a residential Sim and view it as doing my part to keep the theme going.
