Change Group on Rezzed Prims (For an entire region)

Is it possible to change the group of all rezzed objects in one region at the same time? Attempting to negotiate this feat doing small chunks at a time equates to a bleak weekend for me.

Brew plenty of coffee. There are no reliable shortcuts.  In general, it's dangerous to do many of SL's manual operations in bulk. It's very tempting to change permissions on several items at a time too, for example, but the servers tend to miss random ones so you still need to go back and re-check them all individually anyway.  You are welcome to try, but don't trust the results.

You CAN lasso a selection of items and change the group rather than doing it an item at a time. Assume you know that. 

To CHECK and see what is still in the previous group -- and find it, use AREA SEARCH.   I do this all the time to make sure I don't have a wrong group tag on a sim I curate :D.
