movement macro

[Bug Absent]

is there anyway to create a movement macro? I would like to for example set my avi to walk, and have him just keep walking till I end the movement - I dont want to have to keep a finger on the forward button. Any way to do this?

Actually, I'm not sure.  You could try asking in the scripting forums, they might have an answer.  But other than using an external device like a Nostromo or programmable keyboard I don't think you can do it.

Maybe you could put the walk anim in an invisible poseball that is also scripted to start and stop directional motion on simple keystrokes?

I know what you mean, it's called auto-walk/run in some games I play.  Not sure about it here though, sorry.

Auto Pilot?

You double click somewhere on the ground and your AV will keep on walking (or running) until they get there.

Hi, there is another way to do this now. If you already have double click enabled for teleport, you can make single click be autopilot just like in the basic mode. In the debug settings set ClickToWalk to TRUE.

It can be done with gaming keyboards.

Or, like someone else said, ask a scripter. We can throw something together to pull you in whatever direction you're facing, which gets the same effect.
